{"id":109,"date":"2022-01-25T21:24:35","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T21:24:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/?post_type=faqs&#038;p=109"},"modified":"2022-04-14T18:32:59","modified_gmt":"2022-04-14T18:32:59","slug":"adding-a-staff-member","status":"publish","type":"faqs","link":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/?faqs=adding-a-staff-member","title":{"rendered":"Adding a Staff Member"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>*This will be updated when we have the new Add staff + permissions flow*<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, here\u2019s a reminder of what your Staff Member will be able to do on the Dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Staff Members CAN:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Check-in Participants<\/li><li>Scan mobile pit passes \/ tickets<\/li><li>View, print or share the Participant \/ Ticket Holder List<\/li><li>View the Transactions and print or share the Transaction Report<\/li><li>View or modify Registrations<\/li><li>View or add Guests to the Guest Lists<\/li><li>Access the training resources<\/li><li>View the weather forecast and radar<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Staff Members CANNOT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cancel or postpone events<\/li><li>Issue a refund or credit<\/li><li>Create or send push notifications or text messages<\/li><li>Create promo codes<\/li><li>Create additional Staff Members<\/li><li>View or access the Stripe account<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Adding Staff Members:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the Dashboard menu, tap \u201cStaff.\u201d<\/li><li>In the Staff Members tab, tap the orange plus sign to start adding your staff member.<\/li><li>Start by typing your staff member\u2019s mobile phone number.<\/li><li>If your staff member is already a user in the App, their name will auto-populate.<\/li><li>Tap their name, then tap the orange bar labeled \u201cAdd Staff Member.\u201d<\/li><li>The green bar indicates a successful add.<\/li><li>If your staff member is NOT an App user, a form will appear so you can add them as staff.<\/li><li>Fill out the required information on the form.<\/li><li>Then tap the orange bar labeled \u201cAdd Staff Member.\u201d<\/li><li>The green bar indicates a successful add.<\/li><li>Your Staff Member will receive a text message and an email from Pit Pay \/ Kart Pass \/ Ticket Hoss.<\/li><li>Those messages will walk them through getting into the Dashboard.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After you\u2019ve successfully added your staff members, you will see them in the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Editing or Deleting a Staff Member:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To edit a Staff Member, tap the orange arrow to the right of their name.<\/li><li>Tap the pencil icon to edit the staff member, or the garbage can icon to delete them.<\/li><li>Tap the orange bar labeled \u201cUpdate Staff Member\u201d to save your edits.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"parent":0,"menu_order":6,"template":"","faq-category":[6],"class_list":["post-109","faqs","type-faqs","status-publish","hentry","faq-category-onboarding-setup"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/faqs\/109","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/faqs"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/faqs"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=109"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"faq-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ffaq-category&post=109"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
