{"id":115,"date":"2022-01-25T21:40:46","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T21:40:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/?post_type=faqs&#038;p=115"},"modified":"2022-04-14T18:32:59","modified_gmt":"2022-04-14T18:32:59","slug":"how-to-find-a-participants-transaction-details","status":"publish","type":"faqs","link":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/?faqs=how-to-find-a-participants-transaction-details","title":{"rendered":"How to Find a Customer&#8217;s Transaction Details"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Transactions tab is most helpful for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Promoters and Staff to see ALL purchases for an entire event in one spot<\/li><li>Promoters and Staff to see Team Owner purchases showing each Pass purchased<\/li><li>Promoters who need to issue a refund or credit<ul><li>Check out more on \u201cIssuing a Refund\u201d or &#8220;Issuing a Credit&#8221;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/467370557?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewing-transaction-details\"><strong>Viewing Transaction Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the Dashboard menu, tap \u201cTransactions\u201d to open the Transactions Tab<\/li><li>Find your event in the list, then tap the orange arrow to view the transactions<\/li><li>The Transactions List shows all of the transactions for that event<\/li><li>To find a specific Customer&#8217;s transaction, you can use the search bar at the top of the screen or just scroll down to find their name<\/li><li>View the Transaction Details by tapping the orange arrow to the right of the Customer&#8217;s name<\/li><li>In the Transaction Details, you will see all of the passes\/tickets purchased as part of the transaction<\/li><li>For team\/group purchases, you will see the names of each individual team member and the passes purchased for them<\/li><li>Promoters, not Staff Members, will see the refund and credit bars<ul><li>Check out more on \u201cIssuing a Refund\u201d or &#8220;Issuing a Credit&#8221;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The Transaction Details will show if a pass has already been refunded or credited.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewing-printing-or-sharing-the-transaction-report\"><strong>Viewing, Printing or Sharing the Transaction Report<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Transactions tab in the Dashboard menu covers all payments made for your event, and the Transaction Report shows the payout amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two types of files you can download: a PDF report and a CSV file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PDF report contains the Purchaser\u2019s Name; the Purchase Amount; any Discounts and the Promo Codes used; the Refund Amount if a Refund was issued; the Participant\/Ticket Holder Names, the passes\/tickets purchased and the prices; the total number of transactions; the total number of participants\/ticket holders; and the total sales for the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PDF report is best used for printing and sharing the Transaction Report and for Event Reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CSV report contains the Participant\u2019s\/Ticket Holder&#8217;s Name; the Purchaser\u2019s Name; the Pass\/Ticket Name and Type; the Promo Codes used; if a Refund or Credit was issued; the Pass\/Ticket Price; the Transaction Fee; and if the purchase was made using an International Payment Method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CSV report is best used for exporting to a program like Excel to sort data for any required accounting reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember, the Transaction Report is a LIVE list that is constantly updated when passes are purchased while passes are still on sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On a Mobile Device:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the Dashboard Menu, you\u2019ll see Transactions. Tap to open the Transactions tab.<\/li><li>Find your event in the list and tap the Event to open the Transactions list.<\/li><li>Scroll down to the bottom of the Participant List and tap the orange bar labeled \u201cPrint List.\u201d<\/li><li>Apple Devices:<ul><li>If you\u2019re using an Apple device, tap \u201cDownload\u201d on the pop-up screen to download the Transaction Report.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Then, tap the blue arrow at the top right of your screen to open the download window.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Tap the bar containing the file image to open the PDF Transaction Report.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Tap the Share button in the center of the bottom of your screen to easily share the PDF report of the Transaction Report via text or email.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Android Devices:<ul><li>If you\u2019re using an Android device, you\u2019ll see the pop-up screen asking if you want to download the PDF. Tap \u201cDownload\u201d to download the PDF file.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Tap the three dots at the top right of your screen to access the menu.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Tap \u201cSend file\u201d at the top of your screen to easily share the PDF report of the Transaction Report via text or email.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On a Computer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Just like on your mobile device, you\u2019ll see the Transactions tab in the menu.
