{"id":86,"date":"2021-09-07T18:44:36","date_gmt":"2021-09-07T18:44:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/?post_type=faqs&#038;p=86"},"modified":"2022-04-14T18:32:59","modified_gmt":"2022-04-14T18:32:59","slug":"setting-up-your-stripe-account","status":"publish","type":"faqs","link":"https:\/\/promoters.pitpay.com\/?faqs=setting-up-your-stripe-account","title":{"rendered":"Setting Up Your Stripe Account"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sign in to <a href=\"https:\/\/dashboard.pitpay.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Dashboard.PitPay.com<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/dashboard.kartpass.com\/\">Dashboard.KartPass.com<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/dashboard.tickethoss.com\/\">Dashboard.TicketHoss.com<\/a> and click on &#8220;Stripe&#8221; in the Dashboard menu to launch the Stripe setup flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will enter your information into Stripe\u2019s encrypted and secure portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To setup your Stripe account, you\u2019ll want to have a few things handy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Your cell phone so that you can receive a text verification code<\/li><li>Your business entity details<\/li><li>Your Federal Tax ID Number or Social Security Number<\/li><li>Your business debit card or your business checking account and routing numbers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select your business entity type.<\/li><li>Enter your mobile number and email address. This designates you as the primary Stripe Point of Contact.<\/li><li>Make sure you use your MOBILE number. You\u2019ll receive a text verification code to proceed.<\/li><li>Enter the text verification code that was sent to your phone.<\/li><li>Enter all of your business details as required.<\/li><li>If you have a business debit card, select \u201cDebit Card\u201d and enter that information.<\/li><li>If not, select \u201cBank Account\u201d and enter the account details as required.<\/li><li>Tap \u201cSave.\u201d<\/li><li>Confirm your account information, then tap \u201cDone.\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After setup, you will return to the Pit Pay \/ Kart Pass \/ Ticket Hoss Dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a reminder, you can access the Dashboard anytime by visiting <meta charset=\"utf-8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dashboard.pitpay.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Dashboard.PitPay.com<\/a>,  <a href=\"https:\/\/dashboard.kartpass.com\/\">Dashboard.KartPass.com<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/dashboard.tickethoss.com\/\">Dashboard.TicketHoss.com<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Dashboard menu, you\u2019ll see a link to access your Stripe account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In your Stripe Account, you can view Payouts and edit Account Information.<\/li><li>In the \u201cPayouts\u201d tab, you can see your account balance and payout history.<\/li><li>In the \u201cAccount\u201d tab, you can edit your business details and add other team members to receive alerts from Stripe when Payouts are initiated.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pit Pay Inc. will initiate your payouts weekly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We must wait until the funds from that week\u2019s event have been posted and are available in your Stripe account for payout, which is typically three business days following your event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Payouts are initiated Wednesday for the prior week\u2019s events, unless Monday is a bank holiday and then they will initiate on Thursday. Payouts will typically take two business days to process to your bank account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a payout is initiated, Stripe will send you a text message to let you know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Payout timing determines your ability to issue refunds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you use the Dashboard to issue a refund BEFORE that Event\u2019s Payout is initiated, the refund will be taken out of your Total Payout Amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You CANNOT issue a refund via the Dashboard AFTER that Event\u2019s Payout is initiated because your account balance will be zero. Please contact Support for help with delayed refunds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you\u2019re familiar with Stripe, the last item is to confirm your email with Stripe via text message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Look for the email from Stripe. Tap to confirm your email address.<\/li><li>You\u2019ll receive a text verification code.
