Adding a Staff Member
*This will be updated when we have the new Add staff + permissions flow*
First, here’s a reminder of what your Staff Member will be able to do on the Dashboard.
Staff Members CAN:
- Check-in Participants
- Scan mobile pit passes / tickets
- View, print or share the Participant / Ticket Holder List
- View the Transactions and print or share the Transaction Report
- View or modify Registrations
- View or add Guests to the Guest Lists
- Access the training resources
- View the weather forecast and radar
Staff Members CANNOT:
- Cancel or postpone events
- Issue a refund or credit
- Create or send push notifications or text messages
- Create promo codes
- Create additional Staff Members
- View or access the Stripe account
Adding Staff Members:
- In the Dashboard menu, tap “Staff.”
- In the Staff Members tab, tap the orange plus sign to start adding your staff member.
- Start by typing your staff member’s mobile phone number.
- If your staff member is already a user in the App, their name will auto-populate.
- Tap their name, then tap the orange bar labeled “Add Staff Member.”
- The green bar indicates a successful add.
- If your staff member is NOT an App user, a form will appear so you can add them as staff.
- Fill out the required information on the form.
- Then tap the orange bar labeled “Add Staff Member.”
- The green bar indicates a successful add.
- Your Staff Member will receive a text message and an email from Pit Pay / Kart Pass / Ticket Hoss.
- Those messages will walk them through getting into the Dashboard.
After you’ve successfully added your staff members, you will see them in the list.
Editing or Deleting a Staff Member:
- To edit a Staff Member, tap the orange arrow to the right of their name.
- Tap the pencil icon to edit the staff member, or the garbage can icon to delete them.
- Tap the orange bar labeled “Update Staff Member” to save your edits.
