Breaking Down the Mobile Pit Pass – Pit Pay / Kart Pass
This section will break down the components of the mobile pit pass so that you know what to look for when you’re checking in Participants.
Participants can find their Passes under “My Passes” in their Pit Pay / Kart Pass App. The Participant’s name and headshot photo will be at the top. The Participant’s photo on the Mobile Pit Pass will match the photo on their Driver’s License or Photo I.D.
The colored-coded bar containing the track name is the Pass Color, which corresponds to the Pass Color Code in the Dashboard so that you can quickly verify that it’s a valid pass. The color-coded bar matches the Pass Color for EACH different Pass Type.
The Pass Type and Pass Date are prominently displayed on the Pass. Tap the QR code to enlarge it for easy scanning.
If Participants have multiple passes, they can swipe over to show their other passes in the “My Passes” section of their App. Each pass will be scannable.
You will know the Participant has NOT signed the waiver if…
- The Pass has an orange bar across the Pass Date prompting the Participant to sign the Waiver and Release Agreement,
- And the QR code is blurred out and won’t expand for the Pass to be scanned.
This is very important! You MUST have signed waivers from your Participants before they can enter the track. When in doubt, always get a paper waiver signed.
