Setting Up Your Stripe Account

Sign in to Dashboard.PitPay.com, Dashboard.KartPass.com or Dashboard.TicketHoss.com and click on “Stripe” in the Dashboard menu to launch the Stripe setup flow.

You will enter your information into Stripe’s encrypted and secure portal.

To setup your Stripe account, you’ll want to have a few things handy:

  • Your cell phone so that you can receive a text verification code
  • Your business entity details
  • Your Federal Tax ID Number or Social Security Number
  • Your business debit card or your business checking account and routing numbers

Here are the steps:

  • Select your business entity type.
  • Enter your mobile number and email address. This designates you as the primary Stripe Point of Contact.
  • Make sure you use your MOBILE number. You’ll receive a text verification code to proceed.
  • Enter the text verification code that was sent to your phone.
  • Enter all of your business details as required.
  • If you have a business debit card, select “Debit Card” and enter that information.
  • If not, select “Bank Account” and enter the account details as required.
  • Tap “Save.”
  • Confirm your account information, then tap “Done.”

After setup, you will return to the Pit Pay / Kart Pass / Ticket Hoss Dashboard.

As a reminder, you can access the Dashboard anytime by visiting Dashboard.PitPay.com, Dashboard.KartPass.com or Dashboard.TicketHoss.com.  

In the Dashboard menu, you’ll see a link to access your Stripe account.

  • In your Stripe Account, you can view Payouts and edit Account Information.
  • In the “Payouts” tab, you can see your account balance and payout history.
  • In the “Account” tab, you can edit your business details and add other team members to receive alerts from Stripe when Payouts are initiated.

Pit Pay Inc. will initiate your payouts weekly.

We must wait until the funds from that week’s event have been posted and are available in your Stripe account for payout, which is typically three business days following your event.

Payouts are initiated Wednesday for the prior week’s events, unless Monday is a bank holiday and then they will initiate on Thursday. Payouts will typically take two business days to process to your bank account.

When a payout is initiated, Stripe will send you a text message to let you know.

The Payout timing determines your ability to issue refunds.

When you use the Dashboard to issue a refund BEFORE that Event’s Payout is initiated, the refund will be taken out of your Total Payout Amount.

You CANNOT issue a refund via the Dashboard AFTER that Event’s Payout is initiated because your account balance will be zero. Please contact Support for help with delayed refunds.

Now that you’re familiar with Stripe, the last item is to confirm your email with Stripe via text message.

  • Look for the email from Stripe. Tap to confirm your email address.
  • You’ll receive a text verification code. Enter it as prompted.

Your Stripe account will open, and the full Stripe setup is complete.
