Issuing a Refund

Pit Pay Inc.’s Refund and Exchange Policy is YOUR policy. This is presented to Participants in the App FAQs, on every transaction receipt, and is published at pitpay.com/refunds, kartpass.com/refunds and tickethoss.com/refunds.

In the event that refunding a Customer is necessary, you can easily issue a refund in the Dashboard.

  • In the Dashboard menu, tap “Transactions.”
  • Find your event in the list, then tap the orange arrow to view the transactions.
  • The Transactions List shows all of the transactions for that event.
  • To find a specific Participant or Ticket Holder’s transaction, you can use the search bar at the top of the screen or just scroll down to find their name.
  • View the Transaction Details by tapping the orange arrow to the right of the Customer’s name.
  • In the Transaction Information box, select the pass or passes you want to refund, then tap the white bar labeled “Refund.”
  • Tap “OK” in the pop-up window to confirm the refund.
  • A green bar at the top of your screen will indicate that the refund was successful.
  • The Transaction Details will show that the pass/ticket was refunded.

If you need to refund the entire event, please reach out to us and we can easily do that for you!

*It’s important to note that only the Pass/Ticket Prices are refundable, NOT the Transaction Fees.*

When You Can Issue Refunds

The Payout timing determines your ability to issue refunds.

When you use the Dashboard to issue a refund BEFORE that Event’s Payout is initiated, the refund will be taken out of your Total Payout Amount.

You CANNOT issue a refund via the Dashboard AFTER that Event’s Payout is initiated because your account balance will be zero. Please contact us for help with delayed refunds.
