Canceling and Postponing Events
Promoters, or anyone with the cancel / postpone permissions, can cancel or postpone events using the Dashboard.
Cancelling or postponing an event stops pass sales and shows the event status as cancelled or postponed in the App.
- On the Dashboard home screen, you’ll see your upcoming events
- Tap the orange bar labeled “View Participants List” or “View Ticket Holder’s List.” You can also find other events by selecting “Events” from the menu and clicking on the event you want to view
- In the List, tap the calendar icon labeled “Cancel / Postpone”
- Select “CANCEL” or “POSTPONE”
- Tap “YES, POSTPONE” to confirm that you want to postpone the event and stop pass/ticket sales
- Tap “YES, CANCEL” to confirm that you want to cancel the event and stop pass/ticket sales
- The event will show as either cancelled or postponed in the app
Remember, App Users will NOT be able to buy passes/tickets to the event at this point.
